Solo Effort by Marchand

Marchand scores a great Short Handed Goal

Here is the breakdown

A. Turnover- The Canucks are sloppy in the Neutral Zone and Marchand takes the puck and turns it the other way.  His quick transition catches the Canucks flat footed and he is able to get some open ice to create a offensive chance.

B. Creativity- As he is driving to the net on his backhand side, he slips the puck under Keslers stick to get the puck back to his forehand which allows him to continue to drive to the net.

C. Take it Across the Net- This is a great goal as Marchand beats his player and drives the puck all the way across the net.  The farther he takes the puck the farther he forces Luongo to go across making the save move difficult.  When he has Luongo beat at the far post, he doesn't just slide the puck in, he finishes the play hard and puts the puck upstairs.  A great solo effort and a huge goal for the Bruins.
