Ryder Changes the Angle and Scores

Ryder Scores in Game 3 June 6th

Here is the breakdown

A. Space- Ryder gives the puck up and finds open ice. The Canucks had a theme all night, giving the Bruins time and space with the puck.  When Ryder gets the opportunity to step into the slot, with time and traffic he is able to put the puck exactly where he wants it.

B. Traffic- Even with a 7-1 lead and the last minutes of the game, the Bruins still go to the net hard and create traffic.

C. Change the Angle- As he is getting ready to shoot the puck, Ryder makes a slight adjustment with the puck, pulling it in to change the angle.  This makes it hard for goalies to stay set to the puck. As he pulls the puck he leans on his stick and fires the puck.  This is a very hard shot to stop and with time good shooters will score goals this way.
