Jeff Carter gets his first of the series Apr 18th
Here is the breakdown
A. Power Play Breakout- Very simple but effective breakout with options and support. The puck actually doesn't get entered clean but because of the support there is a chance generated to the net.
B. Old Saying- There is a old hockey saying that goes like this "Don't be in a rush to score on the power play, but don't be afraid to score off the rush." Many teams don't attack the net off the rush and only want to set up in the offensive zone. If there is a good chance to the net players should take it, the result could be like this one.
C. Wrist Shot- A great job coming down the right wing and getting the front foot down to allow for a weight transfer. Carter has his head up and knows where he is shooting this puck. Many players try to snap this puck off the right leg leaving themselves in a position to get hit while off balance. This shot is a great one because he is balanced and controlled and able to lean into the shot.
