Sequin Scores Again

Sequin scores in a game May 17th

Here is the breakdown

A. Drive With Cross-Overs- On the transition Sequin uses cross-overs to start accelerating.  The key here is he is explosive from a moving position.  He is getting up to speed but also creating a passing angle so that he can receive a pass.

B. Weaving- There are times in games where the path down the ice isn't always straight.  Sequin keeps his feet moving and pushes away to a spot where the defender can't get to him.  He keeps his speed up and drives around players.

C. Finish- While at full speed he creates lateral movement in the goalie and pulls the puck across to his backhand.  To make sure he finishes the play he lifts the puck to the top half of the net.  A great goal by a gifted young player.
