Marchand Ties the Game

Marchand scores a goal on May 2nd

Here is the breakdown

A. Puck Pursuit- Off the initial rush, the Bruins do a great job getting the puck back.  They jump on loose pucks and keep the puck alive to generate more offense.

B. Slow in the Defensive Zone- The Flyers are slow reacting to pucks and allow the Bruins to have time and space.  This time and space allows for the Bruins player to find the open man and move the puck.

C. Pass and Release- The puck is received and fired very quickly from the slot.  There is no stick handling involved and the puck is released with no hesitation.  There is traffic in front and Bruins collapsing to the net, which makes a simple save much more difficult.
