A great play from the TB/Boston game on May 19th
Here is the breakdown
A. Spot Puck- Chara sees that he has a player behind the Defense of Tampa and instead of trying to force a pass, he spots the puck to an area for his player to skate into it.
B. Deception- If you watch Bergeron and where he is looking, he is looking back up ice like he is looking for a late man. He knows that Peverly is driving the net and uses deception to hold the goalie on the close post.
C. Timing- Of the puck Peverly drives the net. Instead of forcing a puck thru, Bergeron waits till the last second and threads the puck thru so that it would be a bang-bang play. Roloson makes a great push to get across the crease making a fantastic save.
