Bergenheim scores on May 4th to help knock out the Capitals
Here is the breakdown
A. Entry Support- With the puck entering wide, Bergenheim makes a great little support pass to the mid-lane drive player. It is a little area pass where the support player can skate into it. This little pass turns a 3 on 2 into a 2 vs 1 and lets the play continue to the net.
B. Backhand from a Bad Angle- The backhand shot that is taken is not meant to go in, rather it is meant to create another chance on goal. From this angle the puck is shot off the far pad, creating a rebound out to the slot area. This great play results in a goal.
C. Follow Play- After Bergenheim makes the little pass at the blue line, he doesn't just stand still. He follows the play to drive the net and finds the rebound off Moore's shot. This is a great play showing great entry, a great shot for a rebound and a great rebound goal.
