Laich scores his 100th NHL goal vs Montreal on March 15th

Here is the breakdown

A. Speed- Watch how Laich circles behind the net and starts to accelerate coming out of his turn.  

B. Receives Pass in Stride- This is a tough play and is done very well. He receives this hard pass on his backhand and keeps his speed which allows him to drive wide on the Montreal player.

C. Puck Protection and Will to Score- Notice how he protects the puck as he is cutting around the defensemen.  This is a very high level play taking the puck all the way across the net as many players would try to go to the close poat as they are not comfortable with the contact that could happen there. Laich is determined to score and takes it all the way to the far post.  His determination and speed make this a great goal.
