Richards One Timer from Close Range
Here is the breakdown
A. Open Ice- Richards stays out of the pile and waits to move into a hole where he can get receive the pass and get a good shot on net.
B. Great Pass- The Dallas player takes the puck away from pressure and makes a short little backhand pass to Richards who is moving into the slot.
C. Quick Release- As the pass is made, and because the pass is put into a shooting spot for Richards, he lets the puck go without stopping it. This one timer from the slot is very difficult for the goalie as he doesn't get a chance to set his feet. Many times the puck doesn't need to be perfect but if it is released quickly it has a chance.
