Here is the breakdown

A. Jump to Open Ice- As soon as the puck is turned over Couture sees the open ice and beats the Detroit player up ice.

B. Back Hand Saucer Pass- At the blue line there is a very skilled play used to enter the zone.  With the Detroit player tight to the line and with a good gap, the middle seam is opened.  Couture is driving the mid-lane and the Sharks players uses a little backhand saucer pass to get the puck to him.

C. Backhand Fake- Using the backhand fake Couture finishes off a great play to score a big goal in a big game. The puck moves in 2 lines, starting on the backhand and is moved across the net to create lateral movement.  The puck is brought quickly back to the backhand into a shooting position.  A great move by a highly skilled rookie.
