Richards scores on a One-Timer against Ott Apr 5th
Here is the breakdown
A. Puck Kept Alive- The strong side defenseman does a great job to keep the puck alive for the PP. The puck switches sides quickly and gets the Ottawa players running around. When there is a chance like this to get the puck out it has to come out. There is a good amount of times that this happens and the puck doesn't come out that a goal is scored.
B. React to Rebound- The Flyers do a great job reacting to the rebound and getting the puck back to the net quickly.
C. One-Timer- Richards does a great job to find space away from the defenseman to create the scoring chance. If he stays close to the net and the Defensemen this goal doesn't happen. He finds open space and loads up the one-timer. Notice how the pass is flat and is in the middle of his skates to shoot it. He makes great contact and the puck is in the back of the net.
